Purpose of the job:

To support the Group Compliance in the enablement of the Compliance and Risk Management Framework and assist business in meeting its ISO and PCI certification objectives.

Minimum qualifications and experience:

  • Matric
  • Previous experience in a Contact Centre.
  • Previous experience in a BPO environment.
  • Appropriate tertiary degree or compliance certificate
  • Previous Internal Audit / Compliance monitoring experience
  • Excellent MS office skills (with advanced excel skills)
  • Previous compliance / audit experience in an ISO certified business environment advantageous.
  • Previous experience working within a regulated environment

Job responsibilities:

• Support the Compliance Department maintaining a Compliance Framework that meets the needs of the business.
• Support the Compliance Department in maintaining and implementing the Risk Management Framework.
• Execute regulatory compliance breach management and follow-up processes for the business to address the identification, analysis, and resolution processes to be followed as well as escalation procedures.
• Assist business with the ISO and PCI certification requirements.
• Internal audit of the ISO framework across all certified business units.
• Ensure reviews are of a standard suitable for regulatory and/or internal or external audit review.
• Validate document and evidence details of all investigations and findings.
• Training staff internally so that they are aware of the compliance and data privacy policies and processes.
• Actively monitor and research regulatory development across the various countries in which the business operates.
• Perform compliance monitoring reviews to provide assurance to relevant boards and sub-committees on the adequacy of systems and controls in the business, including adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Manage and drive compliance awareness.
• Implement monitoring plans to assess the efficiency of compliance controls and assist with the enhancement of procedures and controls.
• Drafting of internal Compliance monitoring reports.
• Continuously develop and improve the monitoring methodology and overall approach.
• Participating in further project work.
• Manage Conflicts of Interests Register
• Drive continuous improvement across the business adding value to improve regulatory and customer outcomes.
